Aston Villa’s historic 150th Anniversary match will be against West Ham United in the FA Cup Third Round clash this January.

To celebrate the monumental occasion in the club’s illustrious history, the commemorative edition of the ‘Aston Villa News & Record’ will be a discounted £1.50 cover price in honour of the major milestone.

The publication will be an 84pp perfect-bound B5-sized issue, including gold foiling on the cover, as the club marks its 150th anniversary fixture in style against fellow claret and blues.

The two sides last met in the FA Cup back in January 1980, and this tie on Friday 10th January will be only the fourth time they’ve met in the competition’s history.

Unai Emery’s men have had the upper hand over the Hammers in recent meetings, winning two of the last five encounters, with the East London side previously winning at Villa Park in 2022.

Villa though have only reached the Fourth Round of the competition twice in the past nine seasons and the seven-time winners will be determined to alter that record.

Supporters can pre-order a copy of the club’s renowned official match-day publication from this tie and have it delivered direct to their door.

All pre-orders made before Wednesday 8th January will be sent by Royal Mail on Thursday 9th January and should be expected no longer than five working days after dispatch. This is not a pre-event delivery service.
