Aston Villa face Cardiff City in the FA Cup Fifth Round this February in a first meeting between the two sides since 2018.

Unai Emery’s Claret and Blues eliminated West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur at Villa Park to reach this stage of the prestigious competition for the first time in a decade, having not gone into the latter stages since losing the 2015 final.

The seven-time winners will now host Championship side Cardiff, after the Bluebirds booked their passage with a penalty shoot-out victory over Stoke City. The Welsh side, who were finalists in 2007/08, were last successful at Villa Park in December 1954.
