Aston Villa’s final home game in the Europa Conference League group stages sees them welcome Legia Warsaw to Villa Park in late November.

Legia are the most successful side in Poland, having won a record 15 Ekstraklasa titles, and secured a domestic cup double last season after lifting the Polish Cup and Polish Super Cup.

The Legionisci, ‘The Legionaries’, are familiar with European competition as well and beat Leicester City in the UEFA Europa League group stages in 2021/22 and reached the Champions League quarter-finals in 1996.
