Birmingham City will host Rangers in the inaugural Trevor Francis Memorial Match in mid-July.

To mark the one-year anniversary of the death of Blues’ greatest-ever player, a pre-season friendly against the Scottish giants has been established between two of his former employers.

Francis earned iconic status at St Andrew’s @ Knighhead Park during 330 appearances over nine years and also played for the Ibrox giants during the 1987/88 season, winning the Scottish League Cup north of the border.

The meeting against the 55-time Scottish champions is the next step in preserving Francis’ legacy and the bespoke publication to mark the fixture will be a must-have for all serious collections. 

Supporters can pre-order a copy of the club’s official match-day publication ‘Blues News’ for this pre-season encounter and have it delivered direct to their door.

This square size 68pp perfect-bound issue will be sent first class by Royal Mail on Tuesday 23rd July and should be expected no longer than five working days after the game. Any orders subsequently placed after the fixture has taken place will aim to be despatched within three working days.

The price for this edition is £4, plus post and packaging to a UK/Ireland address.
