Daniel Farke’s Whites, who ended the regular campaign third in the table, were last at Wembley in 2007/08 when they lost to Doncaster Rovers.

Although the Yorkshire side finished three points ahead of Southampton in the league the Saints had the edge in this season’s league meetings, completing a ‘league double’ over their promotion rivals.
