Preston North End face Charlton Athletic in January 2025 in a first FA Cup tie between the two sides since 1966.

North End have only reached the Fourth Round of the competition in three of the last ten campaigns, but the Championship side will be hoping a Deepdale crowd can give them the advantage against the Addicks.

The League One visitors, who haven’t won at Deepdale in any competition since 2007, have not progressed beyond the Third Round stage since 2013/14 but will be hoping to spring an upset against their higher division opponents.
