KING AMONG MEN

Leeds Rhinos

Leeds Rhinos are honouring the life of legendary former player Rob Burrow CBE with a tribute edition of ‘Blue & Amber’ for their home fixture against Leigh Centurions.

The Super League club’s former No.7, who won eight Super League titles during his career, died aged 41 this June after being diagnosed with MND in 2019.

Long-standing publication partners of the club for more than 15 years, Ignition Sports Media were privileged to produce a bumper commemorative programme for the emotional occasion at Headingley and will also make a donation to the MND Association.

The 84-page perfect-bound edition includes a flick book element in the top corner of every right-hand page which features Burrow’s mesmerising try from the 2011 Grand Final against St Helens.

The special publication recalls Burrow’s glittering on-field and coaching career, for both Rhinos and England, as well as his work in raising awareness of MND, from appearing on CBeebies, to meeting royalty and in setting up The Rob Burrow Centre at Seacroft Hospital in Leeds.

Naturally there are also countless tributes and fond memories of the former scrum-half who touched the lives of so many, from supporters and celebrities, to sports clubs and governing bodies.

Supporters can add this special edition to their collection for £4, plus post and packaging, from HERE
