Mansfield Town’s promotion back to the third-tier of English football will be marked by a special promotion magazine this August.
The Stags are competing in League One for the 2024/25 campaign for the first time in 21 years and long-term publishing providers Ignition Sports Media were delighted to produce the glossy 52-page A4 publication - and accompanying promotion poster - to mark the historic achievement.
After missing out on elevation automatically on the final day of 2019, and then again with a League Two Play-off Final defeat at Wembley in 2022, the Nottinghamshire side finally got over the line last term under the management of Nigel Clough.
The commemorative magazine includes insights from club owners John and Carolyn Radford about the promotion journey, a lookback from the manager and an exclusive feature from Stephen Quinn whose goal against Accrington Stanley sealed promotion back in April.
There is also a month-by-month recall of the 2023/24 campaign, David Keillor-Dunn selects his 10 best goals, midfielder Louis Reed reflects on his highs and lows from an unforgettable campaign and we reminisce on promotion parties of the Seventies.
ISM’s General Manager David Middleton commented: “The promotion magazine and poster, polywrapped together, are a perfect memento to reflect on what was a tremendous season for the Stags. The publication is packed full of exclusive features and I am sure it will prove to be a must-have for Town supporters of all ages.”
The promotion publication is priced at £5 and can be ordered exclusively from the club at https://www.mansfieldtown.net
