STICK WITH US

To celebrate Aston Villa’s 150th anniversary season ‘The Villa News & Record’ have launched a timeless commemorative sticker set and album

The collection of 150 will be available within every home league programme for the 2024/25 campaign, eight stickers in each, with a 52-page A4 album free to all full-season subscribers, as well as available to purchase on a matchday and in the Club Shop.

Stickers include former playing icons such as Paul McGrath, Gordan Cowans and Peter Withe, as well as great managers like Brian Little, Graham Taylor and Ron Saunders. There are also stickers on the club’s trophy lifts, Villa Park through the ages and current stars, as Villa journey back through their illustrious history.

The album, which retails at £4 if sold separately, is broken down into 18 different themes, including ‘Top Goalscorers’, ‘Classic Kits’, ‘Fans Favourites’ and ‘Premier League Years’ as the club celebrate all things Claret & Blue from 1874 up to the present day.

Ignition Sports Media’s General Manager David Middleton was delighted with the end result after months of planning, saying: “The Aston Villa sticker collection and album to mark the club’s 150th Anniversary season was a long time on the drawing board, from initial concepts, who and what to include, to making sure there was the right feel and tone to the finished product.

“I feel the stickers and album have captured perfectly the essence of the club’s illustrious history, and the facts and contextual references on each page of the album really help inform a younger generation of supporters about the club’s past, as well as providing a wonderful walk down memory lane for those who can remember those famous European nights.”

The 150th Anniversary set is sure to prove popular but supporters can reserve every league edition with a full-season subscription or can kickstart their collection with the ‘Anniversary Bundle’ which is the first league programme and album for just £6.

Happy sticking!
